Description

Sometimes one pair of gloves just isn’t enough – especially if you’re getting blasted by spindrift on top of the Cairngorm Plateau. The Kepler Liner Gloves slip neatly under your big winter pair, adding a vital layer of warmth.

  • Merino has a high warmth to weight ratio
  • Slimline fit to slip easily under outer gloves
  • Corespun with nylon for increased durability

When your gloves aren’t quite cutting it, a pair of liner gloves can make a big difference. Superfine merino wool has a high warmth to weight ratio, trapping lots of insulating air pockets between the crimps in its fibres.

Naturally breathable merino wool makes a great liner material, and it will even wick sweat away when it can’t absorb any more moisture, keeping your hands dry. These properties mean the Kepler Liner Gloves also make great stand-alone gloves for running or when it’s too warm for thick winter gloves on top.

A slim, dexterous fit with a low-profile cuff ensures the liners fit neatly under other gloves and allow you to perform fiddly tasks without your fingers freezing when you take off your outer gloves.

We’ve used corespun merino for the Kepler Liner Gloves, a yarn made by wrapping merino wool around a nylon and spandex core. This gives the material greater durability and increased stretch for comfort and a closer fit. We only use Merino from non-mulesed sources.
